
Are you new to the area, unhappy with your current banking relationship, or just looking for a change? We have developed a Switch Kit to assist you with moving your accounts to BCT. At BCT, it’s still about service!
To make the switch easier we have listed some things you will need to do to make the change go smoothly. Please call us with any questions at 304-725-8431 or 1-800-296-8431 and we will be glad to help you through the process.
1. Visit a BCT branch and open your new account(s).
2. Stop using your former bank account, but be sure to keep enough funds in the account to cover any outstanding checks, automatic withdrawals and automatic payments.
3. Contact all organizations that are currently making direct deposits into your account. Please download our Direct Deposit Transfer Form and use it to notify the organizations. They may require additional information from you to complete this transfer.
4. Contact all organizations that are currently making automatic withdrawals from your current bank accounts. Please download our Automatic Withdrawal Transfer Form and use it to notify the organizations. They may require additional information from you to complete this transfer.
5. Once your last check, automatic withdrawal or automatic payment have cleared, you are ready to close your former accounts. Please contact your former bank to close your account(s).
